Hobs On-Site are doing great work to bring young people into the printing industry. There are now Printing Apprentices in three locations.
Hobs On-site manage print rooms and post rooms within other peoples offices. They now have three young apprentices, the latest of which joined them in January. The newest apprentice Richard, is placed within the Print Room at United Utilities, Lingley Mere. He is studying for an NVQ level 3 in Digital Print and Finishing and is flourishing in the Hobs environment.
The two other Hobs On-Site apprentices are placed within the NHS Leicester reprographics facilities. Loukas has been with Hobs for over a year now and is due to complete his two year apprenticeship in Level 2 NVQ Digital Printing in May 2016. The second of our apprentices in Leicester, Luke, has completed his NVQ level 2 and is due to complete his NVQ Level 3 in Digital Print in May 2016.
The training these budding young professionals receive is wide-ranging and will aid them in a number of different ways. They are immersed into a high-paced working environment, learning skills that will make them a valuable asset to any business. The formal training these young individuals receive allows them to develop their knowledge of the latest industry innovations and guide them through the diversities of the industry.
The achievement of an official qualification is complemented by the practical experience Hobs On-Site offer; providing them with all the necessary expertise to become a first class print operative. Hobs On-Site are proud to invest in the training of these young professionals and these apprentices are proving to be a valuable asset.
