Hobs On-Site’s approach to providing Managed Print Services, is to help our customers to understand and control the total cost of printing within their organisation. This approach is not just for large companies; our approach to Managed Print Services can help businesses of all sizes and market sectors to gain visibility and control of their print spend.
Our experience and position within the reprographics industry means we are knowledgeable on how to provide you with the best Fleet Management Service for the best price. We are able to provide you with a fully integrated Multi-functional Device (MFD) Fleet and a Wide Format Plotter Fleet that is managed and supported by Hobs On-Site.
Hobs On-Site can improve your document confidentiality and security through the introduction of Print Control/Pin Release software. This software will introduce a track and release function to all printers so that documents are held on the printer until the originator releases the job at the MFD by entering a pin or scanning their individual printing pass. This maintains document confidentiality and also reduces paper waste as documents are no longer left at the printer. This can also result in a print saving of up to 20%, in part simply because people are aware that their print output can be monitored.
Our use of Fleet Management Software allows Hobs to provide a superior managed print service. It allows us remotely monitor toner levels and down time across the MFD Fleet. From this information we can replenish consumables as and when necessary and act as a first line of response for all fault resolutions. Our customer service team will manage the escalation of any fault calls to external engineers and see the fault through to its repair. These elements combined reduce your print management burden and therefore provide time and cost savings to your company.
The Hobs team would also assist with developing management information for your MFD Fleet. This would include fault monitoring and volume usage. This management information would be analysed on a monthly basis, with any trends acted upon. This may include:
- Organising preventative maintenance engineer visits for devices with certain usage volumes
- Arranging for senior engineer visits to resolve any reoccurring device issues
- Arranging for the swap of high usage devices with devices located in low usage areas – therefore extending the life of the fleet
The above Fleet Management actions will ensure that you benefit from an improved printing service, and that your business will gain from asset investments.
